When we’re worried, may we look out and remember the birds and the flowers, tangible reminders that though we don’t have control over tomorrow, God does.

After God has done everything necessary to save his people, build his family, and nourish his body, God’s grace still overflows in care for individual believers. God is not too tired from the work of redemption to care for you in particular, personal ways.

Maybe it’s in our deepest valleys and most broken places where Jesus meets us—not with relief or by pulling us out of our pain and suffering, but by simply holding us close, holding our faith.
