So young friends, set your eyes on the cross. Since we know the spectacular is wherever Christ is, you can confidently lay your dreams at his feet.

Our time in prayer gives us the incredible gift of humbly gazing on God’s power, victory, and glory already present in each of our days.

We all walk the same road, yet we can take heart because this well-worn path also held the feet of our Savior.

Where once we fell to the ashes, despairing death, we now gratefully cry out from them on bended knee, in worship and gratitude for God’s gracious gift of life.

Being honest, in light of all this, sometimes I struggle to believe that God sees and cares. But then Christmas gives me hope that he does see and care; and that he loves me after all.
