When our vision is obstructed by the distractions, we need to change our field of vision. We must fix our eyes on Christ, and as we gaze on him, he will dominate our field of vision and we’ll be strengthened by what we see.

The Holy Spirit divides and unites, cuts and heals. It’s rarely pleasant and often leads to doubt. But the Spirit never makes an incision without knowing what He’s doing.

Pastoring requires building trust, regardless of age. Though there are not many easy answers, there are things we can do as young pastors to disciple older members well.

We long to be set free from our burdens and sins that weigh us down and be given a blank slate. So we set goals, but we fail and feel hopeless. Thankfully, there’s a way to start each day anew.
